Beneath a sweet sugar coating, you will find strong chewy Dutch liquorice with a hint of salmiak (Salt). Super popular in both the Netherlands and Germany where they are sold as Salzige Heringe and also known as Salte Fiske.

They are manufactured by Katja/Katjes, the company that produces Percy Pigs for Marks & Spencer.
