We import Matthijs from the Netherlands. Products come in various bag sizes but typically 400g, 800g or 1kg. They are supplied to us in wholesale boxes of 4kg or crates of 8kg but we offer individual bags.

In 1920 Walther Matthijs - newly married - starts his own company from his home in the Netherlands. With nothing but a stove and a large saucepan in the kitchen. Without money, but with a lot of passion, he started experimenting. His father had always been a confectioner and he learned a lot from him. With a lot of trying and starting over, he built his own recipes...

Matthijs is now a leading European producer of confectionery producing over 300 different types.
