Bagsværd Mandel - Salty Liquorice Caramel with Almond

Bagsværd Lakrids is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, they have developed a special anniversary liquorice: Almond. This salty liquorice caramel is flavoured with Sicilian almond cream.

Liquorice master Cecilie says:

“The almond liquorice was originally developed for our Christmas liquorice last year.

We continued to work on the recipe to make the recipe more stable and suitable as a standalone variant, as we absolutely loved the nutty marzipan notes that the roasted Sicilian almond cream gives.

It took about a year to get the plate completely in place, and it was tested last year during our liquorice parties.”

It comes in a 160g slab ready to be cut with a knife.

Gluten-free. Contains almonds, may contain traces of nuts.

Ingredients

Glucose syrup, sweetened condensed MILK, sugar, Sicilian ALMOND CREAM (12.6%), certified fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil, powdered liquorice powder, ammonia, vegetable emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides, sea salt, colour: vegetable charcoal, surface treated (shellac).
